Karin Sherr joined Thomas Jefferson School of Law as its General Counsel in 2013. Prior to coming to TJSL, Ms. Sherr worked in private practice representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court. She has assisted employers with claims ranging from administrative charges and single plaintiff lawsuits to large wage and hour class actions.
Ms. Sherr earned a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish, and a M.S. in Family and Child Studies from Miami University. She attended law school at Washington & Lee University School of Law. After graduating from law school, Ms. Sherr clerked for Judge William McCurine (Ret.) of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
