The Thomas Jefferson Law Review has been given permission to publish the transcript of the question and answer session with U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, from her appearance at TJSL’s 2013 Women and the Law Conference in February.

It is an honor for Law Review to be able to publish Justice Ginsburg’s comments from what was a lively and enlightening exchange during the conference, titled “HER HONOR: Women in the Judiciary.”

"The Law Review is extremely pleased that Justice Ginsburg has agreed to allow us to publish her Q&A transcript from the 2013 Women and the Law Conference," said Danielle Gilbert, the new Editor in Chief Law Review (3L). “Professor Susan Tiefenbrun was instrumental in obtaining Justice Ginsburg's approval and helping me edit the transcript.”

Transcribing the session and ensuring its accuracy was painstaking but very rewarding work.

“Conrad Ohashi, the Executive Editor, did a great job co-transcribing the preliminary draft with me," Gilbert said.  “I am incredibly proud of our Editorial and Managing Boards for their fantastic work and we look forward to the 2013-2014 year.  We thank the outgoing Boards for working to ensure our preparedness and success."

The next edition of Law Review, with Justice Ginsburg’s comments, will be published in Fall 2013.
