On behalf of everyone in the TJSL family, we welcome you to the Spring 2012 semester!

It has been one year since the first classes were held at TJSL’s new downtown campus! It seems hard to believe that the first year in our new home went by so quickly.

Students returned on January 17 for the Spring 2012 semester after the holiday break. They fell right back into the routine in the classrooms, library, student lounge and study spaces around the building - except for the latest entering class, for which this is all new and exciting.

We are excited about the upcoming year at TJSL, which promises many new, dynamic conferences and events.

Career Services is holding a series of workshops through January 27 that cover resume writing, cover letter writing and interviewing skills. For more information, contact Career Services at [email protected].

Barristers Ball 2012: A Red Carpet Affair, is rapidly approaching, and will be held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt on Saturday, February 11. All students are invited to attend and should purchase their tickets at www.tjsl.edu/sba/events/barristers-ball-2012

Former U.S. War Crimes Ambassador David Scheffer will also be speaking to faculty, staff and students at TJSL in on February 13 in Room 325, at 11:30 a.m.

Also, take a look at the website for information about two major conference coming up in February and March, "Women and the Law" and the "7th Annual International Contracts Conference."

For the latest, greatest information all the great events at TJSL, please look at the touchscreens located on every floor of the campus.

We hope everyone at TJSL has a productive and successful semester!
