Steve Luttbeg Conducts CLIMB Mentorship Training with TJSL Students

On Wednesday, November 9, 2011 Mr. Steve Luttbeg of the Crawford High School Law Academy conducted an hour-long mentor training for TJSL students who have expressed an interest in mentoring Crawford youth through CLIMB’s direct mentoring, Teen Court and the Mock Trial Programs.

Mr. Luttbeg spoke to students about the need for mentors in the lives of young people. He stressed the importance of mentors being consistent and patient in developing relationships with Crawford Law Academy students. He believes the Mentor Program will create high expectations for the youth without being overwhelming. These Programs look to be some of the most interactive and fulfilling CLIMB Program initiatives.
