Thomas Jefferson School of Law has 14 students on the 2011 list of finalists for Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Each year, Who’s Who Among Students has furthered the aims of higher education by rewarding and recognizing academic excellence on a national level. Because curricular and extracurricular programs at schools vary greatly, each college is assigned a quota of selectees. Since Thomas Jefferson’s quota is relatively small, selectees are those whose academic standing, participation in extracurricular activities and community services combine to identify a decidedly above average law student. In addition, each nominee had to survive the subjective test of being nominated by individual students, student organizations, faculty, and administration.
The following students were nominated for 2011 Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges:
Shelby Alberts Andrea Rodriguez Melodie Dan Stephanie Sciarani Amy Estrada Laura Shaver Dea Franck Tiffany Steward Pejman Kharrazian Robert Udall Beatrice Resendes Matthew Vesterdahl Steven Riley Riccola Voigt
“Thomas Jefferson School of Law is extremely proud of the accomplishments of the nominees,” said TJSL’s Registrar Kim Grennan. “Please join us in congratulating them on their contributions to the Thomas Jefferson community!”
