Mr. Chad Engbrecht is the Chief Development Officer and General Counsel of a behavioral healthcare system. He develops de novo mental health and addiction treatment facilities, oversees the acquisition of existing behavioral health companies, and is responsible for the management of all legal issues for the companies. Since 2003, Mr. Engbrecht has practiced tax, corporate, securities, and real estate law, in both corporate and law firm settings. Additionally, he has over 25 years of experience in the accounting industry. Mr. Engbrecht began his career at a public accounting firm where he obtained his license as a Certified Public Accountant (maintained until 2008) then transitioned into private accounting. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of an acute care psychiatric hospital from 2006-2019, and currently serves as a Board Member and General Counsel. Mr. Engbrecht holds an Economics degree with an emphasis in Accounting from the Univeristy of California, Santa Barbara. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, conferred Summa Cum Laude.
